Does Afflow handle GST invoicing for affiliate commissions?
Yes. Afflow adds GST on top of the base commission (payout = commission + commission × GST rate) and generates compliant invoices when the affiliate is GST-registered. State-wise CGST/SGST vs IGST split is automatic.
Does Afflow deduct TDS under 194H and 194-O?
Yes. Afflow tracks cumulative financial-year payouts (Apr–Mar) per affiliate and deducts TDS automatically once your configured threshold is crossed. TDS amounts are tracked per payout and exportable for your CA.
How do affiliates get paid?
On the Pro plan, Razorpay X pushes UPI or bank payouts in a single click. On Starter, you mark payouts as manual and settle offline. Either way, the ledger stays auditable.
Is Afflow a Shopify-embedded app?
Yes. The merchant-facing app is embedded in Shopify admin using Polaris. The affiliate portal runs on your own store domain via Shopify App Proxy (yourstore.com/a/ref).
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Per Shopify GDPR requirements, we honour customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact webhooks. Encrypted PII is destroyed within 30 days of uninstall.
How is my data secured?
Every sensitive affiliate field (PAN, GSTIN, legal name, address, bank details) is AES-256-GCM encrypted at the field level with a unique IV. Shopify access tokens are also encrypted at rest. See Privacy Policy.
